Disabling a tracker!
Companies are issuing warnings to employees for going slightly over the speed limit, accelerating too much, braking too hard etc, since when did they become the police? Some companies even go as far to make you take the shortest route distance
wise in order to save fuel, when there is route with less traffic but slightly more distance that could halve your journey time.
I started this because I with 2 others, worked for a construction firm who had all the vans fitted with tracking devices so they could see where the vehicle was at all times, great! I
am a supporter of trackers for tracking the VEHICLE, not tracking the EMPLOYEE. Any device that helps with vehicle theft etc is a good one, but when companies start abusing the tracker
to monitor employees, it becomes wrong in my opinion.
I had to leave work 10 minutes early one day, nothing major but the company took the 10 minutes worth of pay off everyone I work with, we left 30 minutes early another day after working in the heavy rain
all day, we all lost 30 minutes wages. We were out for lunch and got stuck in traffic for 15 minutes, that was taken out of our wages. We were all otherwise hard and honest workers and felt that
the company was abusing the tracker.
We discovered were the box was located so we unplugged some wires, only to find these were tamper proof and we couldnt reconnect without breaking the seal. An engineer came out and fixed it and we were
billed the cost of the repair, so that option was gone. After months of research I finally come up with a solution, its a small black box that you plug into a 12v cigarette lighter socket, when switched
on, it scrambles the tracker signal to make sure it wont know where you are or be able to report back to your employer.
Click Here to get your black box to disable to tracker.
